About The Artist
Skyy Phillips is a multi-media painter and crochet fashion designer based in New York City.
Skyy became an artist because she always created things. The more she grew as an artist by learning different mediums and skillsets, the more she chose to follow art as her calling.
Her work is based on the beauty in nature, people, and flowers, and synthesizing a new connection to them by making them in different mediums. Key elements in her painting work are a dream-like atmosphere, glowing objects and contrasting lighting. Key elements in her crochet work include ruffle detailing, faux-fur yarn trimming, and beading.
Exhibited in El Barrio Artspace (2023, 2024) for the Women Celebrate Women Show, Two years in a row.
